Carrie Underwood’s heartfelt country songs are music to the ears of millions, but the singer’s two biggest fans, husband Mike Fisher and son Isaiah, couldn’t help but sneak in an adorable father-son nap while Carrie practiced with her band. “Isaiah’s first band rehearsal … as you can see he & his daddy were totally into is!” the country megastar posted on Instagram.
The American Idol-alum’s latest snap of her four-month-old son marks the fourth time that Carrie has given fans a peek at her little guy. In March, she announced Isaiah's arrival – the tot had been born on on Feb. 27 – with a photo of his tiny hand and the caption, “God has blessed us with an amazing gift! Welcome to the world, sweet angel!
Later that month, Carrie made sure the world knew that her son was a fierce supporter of his dad’s NHL team, the Nashville Predators, by posting a pic of him with some mini hockey gear.
Carrie and Peterborough, Ont.-native Mike tied the knot in 2010 after two years of dating. Shortly after they said "I Do," Mike was traded from Ottawa to Nashville where he and Carrie have made their home. Now that his NHL season is over, the hockey pro is enjoying some down time at home with the family and Carrie looks to be itching to get back to work. Her new Instagram post confirms that the seven time Grammy winner is back in the studio working on new music. And with Isaiah as inspiration, one thing's for sure – Carrie's future hits will be overflowing with love.
