John Stamos has encountered a small setback on the road to Fuller House, a reboot of the '90s sitcom for which the actor became famous as Uncle Jesse. The 51-year-old was arrested on Friday (June 12) for DUI after police received worried calls regarding a reckless driver in Beverly Hills.
According to the Beverly Hills Police Dept., as reported by People, John was alone in the car and formally arrested at the hospital, where he was taken "due to a possible medical condition." The General Hospital star will appear in court on Sept. 11, and has been released to the care of the hospital.
Earlier this year, John announced Netflix's 13-episode Full House revival, for which he'll serve as producer and star and which will see the Tanner family reunited next year. John did, however, tweets that he was #heartbroken to learn that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would not be joining the cast.
'I understand they're in a different place and I wish them the best," he said of his longtime costars on Twitter. "I promise you will not be disappointed with our reunion and spinoff!!"
