From becoming the first Canadian to make it to the semi finals at Wimbledon to playing tennis withJustin Bieber and gracing the cover of FLARE magazine, Eugenie Bouchard has had many thrills in her 21 years, but getting up close and personal with Shania Twain might just be her crowning moment to date.
Eugenie was in the audience at Shania’s Miami show on July 16 when, during a performance of her hit song “Any Man of Mine”, the country singer ventured into the crowd to greet her fans. In a video posted on her Instagram account, Eugenie is seen jumping up and down after getting a high five from the superstar. “I TOUCHED HER HAND #fangirlingHARD@shaniatwain,” she captioned the video.
The gorgeous athlete isn’t the only Shania fan who has cause for celebration. The singer announced last week that she has added an additional seven Canadian dates to her hit Rock this Country tour. She’ll roll into Regina on October 18 for two shows before stopping in Alberta and British Columbia.
Rocking out to the country star’s live show comes on the heels of another life-changing outing for Eugenie. Earlier this month, she tweeted that she experienced the “best night of her life” at Taylor Swift’s 1989 concert.

After bowing out of this year’s Wimbledon tournament in the first round, the Montreal native is looking to the future and has her eyes set on the top prize at the 2015 Rogers Cup in Toronto. The tournament, which runs from Aug. 8– 16, will feature the world’s top tennis stars, including Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
