Drake sure knows how to throw a party! The artist, also known as Aubrey Graham, celebrated his 29th birthday in epic fashion with an all-star bash in Las Vegas. In pure @Champagnepapi style, the entire evening was showcased on Instagram, giving fans plenty of swoon-worthy snaps since Saturday (Oct. 24).
The evening kicked off on a private jet to the desert strip with the ‘Hotline Bling’ singer and pals like Young Empire Music Group CEO Jas Prince dancing and getting in the spirit.
The bash then moved on to a no-expenses-spared dinner at Hakkasan restaurant at the MGM Grand. There were balloons and many delectable dishes, including short ribs, roasted silver cod, beef tenderloin and noodles. The rapper even took a moment out of the evening to share a sweet message with his fans.
“Thank you for everything. Tonight is one of the few moments I will stop to enjoy this,” he said on Instagram.

From there, the GRAMMY award-winning artist and his crew (including Young Money and Big Sean) went to OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace, where they were treated to an over-the-top multi-tier birthday cake and giant letters spelling out his social media moniker, champagnepapi. Drake’s pal DJ Fred Matters reportedly played throughout the evening.
The cherries on top of what seems to be a perfect evening were the many presents the OVO Sound founder received from pals. Drake shared a few favourite gifts, including a gold ping pong paddle with the number six on it and a custom uniform from his high school, Vaughan Road Academy in Toronto.
