Jennifer Lawrence has been known to spice up her appearances with candid banter, but her preference for the piquant extends to food choices as well. During a recent interview, the A-lister whipped up some cocktails, talked about new pal and collaborator Amy Schumer, and ordered a pizza.
The 25-year-old star is on the cover of the December issue of Vogue, and invited the story’s editor to her home for their interview. Throughout the chat, the Hunger Games actress proves once more that she’s truly the down-to-earth, hilarious star who has won the hearts of fans around the world.
Despite the pair having a restaurant reservation, Jennifer decided to order pizza. Her toppings of choice? A spicy blend of pepperoni and jalapeños, complete with a side of ranch dressing. The pair washed it down with a couple of dirty martinis, the recipe courtesy of fellow A-lister Michael Fassbender. This past summer at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, Michael and Jennifer participated in a live read of The Big Lebowski as part of director Jason Reitman’s ongoing comedy series.

Jennifer also opens up about her relationship with comedian Amy Schumer, with whom she has a well-documented friendship and an exciting collaborator, as the duo have just completed writing a screenplay together. "One time we laughed so hard our teeth clanked together.”
As for her other extracurricular activities, the X-Men star reveals that she spends her free time doing very little with her friends - including one particular set of A-list neighbours. “[I] hang out. Drink wine. I’ve got a bunch of friends who live really close, thank God. And I’ve made friends with Mila [Kunis] and Ashton [Kutcher], two doors down. They’re awesome. I go over there uninvited. They’re probably getting pretty sick of me.”
Up next for Forbes’ highest-paid actress is a sci-fi love story with Chris Pratt called Passengers.
“I knew that coming out of Hunger Games it was a bad move to do a big blockbuster,” she says. “I want to get back to my roots, back to indies, where I started. And then I read Passengers, and I loved it. This is my first time saying yes now that I am completely free of franchises.”
