Anne Hathaway is reportedly pregnant with her first child. According to E! News, the Oscar-winning actress and her husband, Adam Shulman, are preparing to welcome a baby in the new year. A source told the news outlet, “Anne is in her second trimester and feeling great.” The couple married in 2012 after four years of dating.
Anne has been open about her desire to have children, telling Vogue in 2013, “I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.”
The star, who turned 33 on Nov. 12, used her birthday celebration to thank her fans on Instagram for their “outpouring of love and support.” “I really didn't know what to expect from opening myself up to social media,” she wrote, adding, “You filled my 32nd year with so much light, joy and positivity, and I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate it.”
She has yet to comment on the pregnancy news, but the star of The Intern isn’t shying away from the spotlight like some actors do. Anne posted a picture of herself in the makeup chair on Nov. 24, captioned, “I've got something like diaper rash on my chin and pantyhose on my head #glamour#werk.”
