Sarah Rafferty reveals her favourite holiday tradition

“I spend Christmas with my three sisters, their families and my parents in Connecticut,” reveals actress Sarah Rafferty, who took some time out of her busy schedule shooting the hit TV drama Suits (mid-season premiere Jan. 27, Bravo) to chat holidays with Hello! The stunning star will also be celebrating the holidays with her husband and their two beautiful daughters, Oona and Iris.

When we dropped by the Suits set in North Toronto for a visit, the cast was hard at work on the very hush-hush season finale. And while spoilers were wrapped up tighter than the presents under a Christmas tree, Sarah was more than happy to share her favourite holiday tradition, the “10 o’clock party.”

“At 10 o’clock on Christmas night everybody puts on their pajamas and we have a white elephant party, or a Yankee swap,” she explained. "Everybody has to bring a joke gift and then wrap it in the detritus of the day. You draw a number and it becomes very competitive with people stealing and wanting really crazy gifts.”

In 2016, Sarah will return to Canada to film the sixth season of the legal drama. It will be a welcome homecoming for the star, who admitted to us that “Toronto is definitely my second home.” From the people to the restaurants, Sarah says she's crazy about the city and even told her agent, “When this show is cancelled can you get me another show that shoots in Toronto please?”
