Emily Blunt left John Krasinski speechless when they first met

When John Krasinski first met his wife Emily Blunt, he was so nervous he could barely speak. The 36-year-old revealed the relationship secret to Stephen Colbert during an appearance on The Late Show.

"I don't know [how I got her]. And the way I acted was a little aggressive. The true story... I was so nervous. Everybody's like, 'What was your line?' And it was just this: [Silence]. And she was like, 'Hi! How are you?' And I was like, 'Pretty good.' I just, like, touched her face, and she was like, 'Don't do that.' Then they called security and we got married."

"I couldn't do one pull-up [before training]," he said. "I was like, 'How hard are these pull-ups, really?'" After working out twice a day for roughly six weeks, the star says he's happy with his new six-pack and toned body, though he admits his 32-year-old wife isn't as pleased.

"She hates it... She would way prefer to have doughy guy back," he joked to Stephen. Despite that, he says he's "one of the luckiest guys in the world."

Little Hazel Krasinski was born in Feb. 2014.

Not only has he been busy filming and promoting his latest film, he's set to celebrate his daughter Hazel's second birthday in February.
