Scott Disick makes being a 'good dad' his main focus

Scott Disick has had a tough year moving past his hard-partying ways with a stint in rehab, but the reality-TV star, 32, is ready to put his family first. The father of three is making his children, Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and one-year-old Reign, his main focus.

He made the revelation during an appearance on Khloé Kardashian's new talk show, Kocktails With Khloé. Scott joined Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Tyga for an appearance on the show, when he was asked, "What's next for you?"

Scott Disick says he wants to be a "good dad" to his three children.

"The only thing I'm trying to focus on is calming down and focusing on the kids and trying to be a good dad," Scott replied.

The professed Lord added that despite the impression he may give on social media, his main focus isn't just to live a lavish lifestyle.

"A lot of people think I only care about money and cars and don't realize it's more just about insecurities and how much I care about my friends and my family," Scott said. "I'd really rather never be in a tabloid again, but if I'm going to be, at least let it be about, 'This guy isn't who everyone thinks he is'."

Scott split from Kourtney Kardashian in July.

Scott's nine-year relationship with Khloé's sister Kourtney ended in July after he was pictured getting close with old flame Chloe Bartoli in Monaco. Despite the split, Kourtney, 36, has been spending a lot of time with her ex and allowing him to have a close relationship with their young children.

She recently said that while she and Scott have not reunited romantically, there could be hope for them yet. Speaking during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Kourtney confided, "Well, we're not together, I feel like every day is different. But, we're totally getting along, we have three beautiful kids together.

"He's family, he'll always be."
