Kourtney Kardashian couldn't just pick 10 of her favourite home décor pieces, instead she shared a whopping 87 picks with Architectural Digest. The mother of three invited the publication into her Calabasas home to see how she and Million Dollar Decorators’ Martyn Lawrence Bullard created a space that the reality star describes as “really chic but practical.”
Custom and store-bought accessories highlight the 11,500-square-pad, which the eldest Kardashian purchased in early 2014. Some of her most cherished pieces, like a set of Syrian inlaid game boxes, belonged to her late father Robert Kardashian. Her children's toys and artwork are also poignant focal points in her kitchen and living space.
While vintage Belgian mirrors greet guests as they enter the six-bedroom property, they are then submerged into a contemporary retreat. Modernist gems can be found throughout Kourtney's stunning home, which she shares with daughter Penelope, 3, and sons Mason, 6, and one-year-old Reign. One of the living room's key pieces is Kourtney's childhood piano. "All of the kids are learning to play on it now, just like I did," she reveals.
The over-sized kitchen and eating area feature even more luxurious ornaments, like a Pierre Jeanneret dining table. And from its Wolf stainless steel oven range to a Miele coffee machine and $1500 Kelly Wearstler bowl (filled with oranges from the garden!) gifted to Kourtney by her sister Khloé, it's easy to see why food might not be the kitchen's main attraction.
