Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's son Jack meets Eagle the penguin

Last October, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt's son Jack had the honour of naming a baby penguin at Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo. The adorable three-year-old soared to the occasion by naming the little creature Eagle. And after a few months of very important TLC from zoo staff, Eagle was finally ready to meet his friend Jack on Tuesday (Mar. 8). Proud mom Anna shared precious photographs from the meet and greet on Twitter, writing, "Jack got to meet eagle the penguin! Thank you so much @woodlandparkzoo!"

Clad in a navy blue duffel coat, Jack looked happy, albeit a little nervous, as he posed with his fury friend. The Mom star joked that his expression turned sour when he realized "sometimes penguins smell." The Woodland Park Zoo marked the occasion by retweeting the actress, adding, "Eagle the penguin got to meet Jack the human."

It's unclear if Chris was able to join his family for the special play date, but given that he is hard at work on the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, he might not have been able to sneak away from set. Regardless, the actor was there in spirit, especially after he shared with fans how important and personal the task of having Jack name the penguin was for his family. In a post on Facebook he revealed, “Anna and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. Who’d have thought that 15 some years later we’d meet in Hollywood, fall in love, get married, have a baby and that baby boy would be given the opportunity to NAME A PENGUIN CHICK at the zoo?! I mean come on!”
