Beyoncé didn't hold back celebrating her beloved daughter Blue Ivy's fourth birthday. The singer threw a luxe bohemian-princess bash with a magical tent, gorgeous flowers, teepees on lush rugs, fairy lights and fun activities like archery.
Blue got to hang out with other 'princesses' and there were enough costumes to keep everyone entertained for hours. Singer Beyoncé gave fans a glimpse into her daughter's celebrations with some pictures uploaded to Tumblr, and it's clear Blue was the star of the show.
The snaps show rails of clothes, including fairy dresses and prince outfits, and the kids were treated to archery lessons, which no doubt let them believe they were in their own Disney movie.
Beyoncé, 34, and 46-year-old husband Jay Z welcomed Blue in 2012, and the superstar previously opened up about how motherhood had completed her life.
Speaking during a 'mini-art feature' released in conjunction with her last album, she explained: "Nothing feels like my child singing 'mummy.' No, nothing feels like when I look my husband in the eyes. Nothing feels like when I'm respected, when I get on change and I see I'm changing people's lives."
During the candid clip, former Destiny's Child star Beyoncé also suggested her incredibly successful career has come at a price.
She continued: "I mean, you get this trophy and you're like, 'I basically starved, I have neglected all the people that I love, I've conformed to what everybody else thinks I should be and I have this trophy. What does that mean?'"
But Beyoncé recognises that the sacrifices have been worth it, adding: "I have a lot of awards and I have a lot of these things that are amazing and I worked my a** off, I worked harder than probably everyone I know to get those things."
