Congratulations are in order for Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock, who welcomed their second child on Thursday (Apr. 14). Kelly confirmed the happy news and also revealed the adorable name the couple has chosen for their baby boy.
Taking to Twitter to announce her son's safe arrival, Kelly wrote: "Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!"
Kelly announced that she was expecting baby number two in August, and later admitted she was having a difficult pregnancy due to suffering with morning sickness.
"I'm familiar with all-day sickness," Kelly said during an interview with CBS This Morning in November. "I have to get IVs and fluids because I get so dehydrated. It's really bad."
However Kelly didn't let the sickness stop her from getting excited about her second child, and continued to share her excitement on social media. In October the Because of You singer revealed the gender of her baby by sharing a sweet photo of her daughter River Rose, who turns two in June.
"In other news, River's gonna have a little baby brother :) We're so excited!" Kelly wrote.
In June, the Texas-born singer revealed that she was hoping to become pregnant by the end of 2015.

"After tour I want to start (trying) for the next one," she said. "It's hard being a woman and wanting kids and fitting in your career."
The Grammy Award winner said she was keen to not have a big age gap between her two children.
"I want them to be close together, because the other two are kind of close together, my stepkids," she said.
Kelly, who wed talent manager Brandon Blackstock in October 2013, is stepmother to Brandon's children, Seth and Savannah, from his previous marriage.
"My kids love her," Brandon's ex-wife Melissa told People in 2013. "I couldn't ask for a better stepmother for my children."
