Jason Sudeikis is waiting for this law to pass before marrying Olivia Wilde

Two years after Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde got engaged, the couple have yet to say "I do." Why the wait? Many Hollywood couples cite their busy schedules as the culprit keeping them from walking down the aisle, but for Jason and Olivia it is the law that is holding up their wedding date.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Mother's Day star joked, "We are good in many many ways. I believe that we won't get married until weed is legal in every state."

Jason and Olivia got engaged in 2013.

This isn't the first time that the couple have danced around the topic in the media. When asked by The EDIT why she and her longtime love haven't tied the knot yet after getting engaged in Jan. 2013, Olivia said, "We are seriously connected. Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, ‘Oh, we're committed and promised already.'"

Better behaved than I've ever been at the dentist. Guess they gave him the good drugs. 

Olivia often shares photos of her adorable son on social media.

The couple are enjoying family life with their two-year-old son Otis, who they welcomed in Apr. 2014. Jason recently told Entertainment Tonight how his little boy, who is one of Beyonce's biggest fans, is preparing to celebrate his mom on Mother's Day (May 8). "He has got all sorts of stuff cooked up. But he won't let me know because he doesn't know enough words yet!"
