Chrissy Teigen unaffected by public criticism over date night with John Legend

New mom Chrissy Teigen isn't letting a little negative feedback from fans on social media ruin her early days of motherhood. After being criticized by fans for leaving her newborn baby at home to enjoy a date night out with her husband John Legend, the model appeared to be unaffected by the unwanted attention.

"I went to dinner. People are pissed. Good morning!" wrote the celebrity mom on Instagram alongside a screen shot of the negative comments she received online. And when one fan asked her where her 10-day-old daughter was, Chrissy joked, "I dunno I can't find her."

John and Chrissy welcomed their baby girl, Luna Simone Stephens, on Apr. 14 in Los Angeles. Shortly after her birth, both parents were quick to share some of her first photos with fans on Instagram.

This isn't the first time that Chrissy has been the target of criticism. In the early stages of her pregnancy, the former Sports Illustrated cover girl had to defend her eating habits after being called out for eating artificially coloured food. A few months later she was back on defence when commenters scrutinized her choice to impregnate a female embryo during IVF treatment.

"What year is this?! And for the record I am always happy and open to speak on fertility. The more casual, the better. I don't mind," she said at the time before joking, "I also picked the embryo with a taste for bacon, a knack for magic and size 7 feet so she can always find shoes."
