Jenna Dewan Tatum gives husband Channing Tatum a horse for his birthday

Channing Tatum horsed around on his 36th birthday, thanks to a special four-legged gift from his beloved wife Jenna Dewan Tatum. The actor was quick to hop on Twitter to show off his present, a beautiful rescue horse named Cajun. Calling it the "best birthday gift ever," Channing then saddled up for a ride with his new steed.

The Tatums, including their two-year-old daughter Everly, left Los Angeles behind to celebrate the 22 Jump Street star's birthday in the country. Jenna did everything she could to ensure her "country boy" husband had the best celebration to date. She marked the occasion by posting a sweet message to her longtime love on Instagram. Quoting philosopher Lao Tzu, Jenna wrote, "To love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage."

Enjoying a ride on Cajun and sporting some Braveheart-inspired face paint courtesy of his daughter, the father of one filmed a short video in which he declared his birthday as "the best day ever."

Channing's 36th year is shaping up to be one of his busiest! He'll soon film the superhero flick Gambit, another Jump Street movie with Jonah Hill and it has been confirmed that he will star alongside Julianne Moore in the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service.
