Add meeting the President of the United States to the very short list of things that can render the Queen of Pop speechless.Madonna admitted in the caption of a photo she shared on Instagram that she was at a loss for words when she came face-to-face with Barack Obama.
The singer was pictured looking rather stunned as she met the President backstage at Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. "For Once I'm Speechless........... President Obama," she wrote.
After she managed to compose herself, Madonna posed with the politician and commented on the Zodiac sign they share. "A meeting of the Leo's! A Cosmic Convergence!!. 2 #rebelhearts," she posted.
The Material Girl singer also noted with confidence that her ten-year-old son David would one day follow in Obama's footsteps.
"Future President!!" she captioned a snap of her youngster.
However, one of the recent photos that the 57-year-old posted wasn't as well received by some of her followers. The picture showed Barack and his wife Michelle sporting Madonna-branded T-shirts.
"Aww....You guys are so sweet," the multiple-Grammy winner wrote. "See you soon xoxo!"
Some followers were quick to comment that the image of the President and the First Lady is an old Photoshopped picture that was created by a fan last year.
"Context is important, and without that knowledge how would anyone know better? She didn't tag or reference the fan who made it, so I can only assume she's passing it off as a real photo," wrote one follower.
Another leaped to Madonna's defence, posting: "This pic what photoshopped by a fan last year. She's cracking a joke mate."
Last year Madonna revealed that her dream is to meet the President. "The person I most want to meet is President Obama," she told Us Weekly. "When the heck am I going to meet him? He just needs to invite me to the White House already. He probably thinks I'm too shocking to be there.
"I'm serious. If I was a little bit more demure… or if I was just married to Jay Z. Hey, if Jay would only take me as his second wife, then I'd score an invitation."
