Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise enjoyed some mother-daughter time on the Toronto set of The Kennedy's: After Camelot on Friday (Jun. 17). The actress was so thrilled to have her little look-alike with her at work she couldn't resist showing off snaps of her daughter on social media.
The Dawson's Creek star shared a photo of herself with Suri watching scenes being filmed from behind the camera. She captioned the post: "My sweetie #setlife #gratitude," accompanied by a love heart emoji.
In the photo, the pair look very similar while wearing matching headphones as they watch the action, with Suri sitting in her own personalized chair. Katie also shared photos of Suri wearing a pretty floral headband, accompanied by love heart and flowers emojis.
Fans were quick to point out how similar the two are, with one writing: "Spitting image of her mom!" while another wrote "Wow Suri is your mini me! She's beautiful!"
Suri recently celebrated her 10th birthday in April, and a source opened up to People magazine about the party. They said: "Suri enjoyed a low-key pre-birthday lunch Sunday with Katie, her maternal grandparents and two young girlfriends at Tavern on the Green.
"Rather than cake and a rousing rendition of 'Happy Birthday,' Suri and her pals quietly opted for freshly-baked cookies from Tavern on the Go before heading off into sunny Central Park."
Katie also posted a birthday message on her Instagram, writing: "So grateful for my favourite day of the year!!!!!! Happy Birthday to my sweet angel Suri."
The star previously opened up to Elle UK about motherhood, saying: "The number one thing is making sure my child feels loved. And good about herself. And that what she does and who she is, is special and important, and should be celebrated. And, as my mom always said, 'No one loves you like your mother.'"
