Dustin Johnson's Father's Day was one for the record books. After capturing his first major title at this year's US Open, the golfer was rewarded with a big embrace from his precious one-year-old son Tatum. A proud Paulina Gretzky looked on as her two favourite guys shared a once-in-a-lifetime moment on the golf course.
Photographers captured the special moment between the young family, as Dustin and Paulina paused for a romantic kiss as the sun set on the Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania.
The win didn't come without drama, as Paulina anxiously watched her longtime love finish the last seven holes knowing that a shot on the fifth green had to be reviewed for possible rules infringement. Even after being penalized one shot for the error, the 31-year-old still delivered a championship winning performance.
"I couldn't be more excited [about having my family here]," said the golfer in the post-game conference, noting how important his loved ones are in helping him achieve success. "I have a great support system with Paulina and my son Tatum. It's been a great road and I'm definitely a stronger person coming out the other side."
Paulina's parents Wayne and Janet Gretzky were quick to congratulate their future son-in-law on social media, writing, "We couldn't be prouder of you all the biggest congratulations Dustin!!!" Janet went on to post a poignant side-by-side photo showing Dustin and Wayne both holding trophies from their sport of choice and pointing out that Tatum has inherited some serious athletic genes.
