'Code Black' star Ben Hollingsworth and wife Nila welcome baby boy

Congratulations to Ben Hollingsworth and his wife Nila, who have announced the arrival of their first child. The Canadian actor was quick to share the happy news on social media and post a picture of his beautiful baby boy.

Little Hemingway Nash Hollingsworth was born on Sunday (Jul. 3) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ben, who stars in the medical drama Code Black, posted a heartfelt message about his son, writing, "This little man now owns my heart. I was given the opportunity to "catch" him at birth, and now that I have him, I'm never letting go."

Ben's wife Nila is just as in love with their new arrival, calling the day he was born the "best day" of her life.

The 31-year-old actor shared another picture of Hemingway on Monday, in which the newborn looks blissfully happy resting on his mother's chest. The actor captioned the picture, "When you've just had the best meal of your life and you don't want to get off the couch."

Weeks before his son's arrival, Hello! caught up with Brockville native at the CTV Upfronts in Toronto where he couldn't hide his excitement about becoming a first-time dad. He also shared with us his plan to ensure his son inherits his love for the Toronto Maple Leafs. "He's already got a Maple Leafs onesie. In fact it's going to have Auston Matthews on the back of it now," said Ben referencing the hockey team's newest rookie.

Ben and Nila married in Nov. 2012 and announced they were expecting their first child in December.
