Chrissy Teigen is enjoying everything that comes with being a new mom, including her post-pregnancy body. The beautiful model, who welcomed daughter Luna in April, has admitted she is in no rush to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight and hopes other women feel the same.
"You just realize you have to give yourself time and understand that you push out a baby, and it took this long to put on the weight, and it's not going to peel right off, and that's OK," she told E! News during REVOLVE's Hamptons Fourth of July Cookout on Monday (Jul. 4). She also believes new moms shouldn't feel pressure to shed any weight, saying, "It's fine. Enjoy your baby. Don't go crazy!"
Chrissy also revealed that her husband John Legend is loving all of her "new pieces" and credits her "strong undergarment game" for disguising unwanted weight.
Since Luna's birth on Apr. 14, the adorable parents have declared their love and adoration for their little girl by posting pictures and messages on social media. And even though Chrissy has her own special relationship with her daughter, the 30-year-old admits that the bond Luna shares with her father amazes her.
"She comes to me, she wants boobs, she wants food, and she looks at me and she giggles at me and she laughs," Chrissy told E! News, adding, "But when she looks at him, it's like these dreamy, weird, different eyes and it's so sweet to see. I think there's no relationship like a father-daughter relationship so it's really cool to see them together."
