Who? Eleven from Stranger Things
Why? It's the cult Netflix show everyone is talking about.
You will need: A pink long-sleeved dress, sports socks, Converse style trainers and a blonde wig. Add a touch of fake blood to create Eleven's telepathy nose bleeds, and get practicing some intense staring.

Who? A Coco-bot
Why? Futuristic, fashionable and Karl Lagerfeld approved - Chanel's SS17 models gave us seriously chic Halloween costume inspiration.
You will need: A storm-trooper style mask, a tweed suit and white gloves.

Who? Beyoncé in Lemonade
Why? The singer's visual album quickly became iconic when it was released earlier this year - particularly the image of Beyoncé smashing up a car while wearing a tiered Roberto Cavalli dress.
You will need: A mustard yellow dress and black strappy heels, not forgetting the all important baseball bat.

Who? A Fashémon
Why? Pokémon Go was the craze of the summer, but rather than dressing as Pikachu, put a stylish spin on the theme with these iconic fashion faces.
You will need: Charwintour is our favourite Fashémon character - wear a chic dress with a black coat, shades and a blunt bob wig, pinning on a fake tail for an unexpected Halloween disguise.

Who? Harley Quinn
Why: The DC Comics heroine was hands down the most popular and talked about character from the summer blockbuster Suicide Squad.
You will need: Expect to see tons of Harley Quinns roaming the streets this Halloween, so to keep things fresh and original try recreating the character's prison look. Using a black marker, write "Belle Reve Prison" on the leg of an orange jumpsuit. Dye a white wig pink and blue, recreate Harley's graphic makeup and pop on a pair of pink fuzzy slippers!

Who? Marcia Clark
Why:The infamous lawyer became a pop cultural icon all over again thanks to Sarah Paulson's Emmy-winning performance in TV's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
You will need: Tuck a white blouse under a 1990’s power suit and finish off the ensemble with stockings and black pumps. To really capture Marcia's look, invest in a curly brown wig, a prop cigarette and don't forget to apply her signature beauty mark over your lip.

Who? Barb from Stranger Things
Why: Poor Barb. Spoiler! Nancy's loyal friend met an unfortunate end in the Netflix series, but her time on screen left viewers wanting more, so much so, fans started a petition to bring her back.
You will need: A short red wig, oversized glasses, a checked high-collar blouse and high-waisted slacks. Finish off the look with a colourful binder.

Who? Tickets to Broadway's Hamilton
Why: The historical musical, which won 11 Tony awards, is considered to be the Great White Way's most in-demand show.
You will need: On a large white foam board, copy the details from a ticket to the show. Then, cut a hole big enough to fit your face and you'll instantly become Halloween's hottest ticket.

Who? The new Ghostbusters
Why: The ghost busting remake of the classic 1984 film was one of the year's most talked about flicks. Fans old and new rushed to the theatre to see how stars like Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig put their on flair on the cult hit.
You will need: Full body overalls, black gloves, black boots and orange tape to detail your outfit.
