Adele made a surprising announcement as she closed the North American leg of her tour in Phoenix on Monday night (Nov. 21). After performing more than 100 concerts in 10 months, the "Send My Love" singer, 28, told the audience she knew what she’d be doing after the Oceania leg of her tour wraps in March: “I’m going to have another baby!”
After the curtain fell on her last live show before hitting the road again in February, the British superstar came home to London to find a special surprise from her son Angelo. The four-year-old congratulated his mom on a successful tour by painting a banner that read, “Mummy you did it!” The proud mom shared a photo of his artwork on Instagram, along with a message thanking everyone who was part of the production.
“I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself,” wrote the beloved singer. “You lot have been incredible, every night you’ve been so beautiful, loving and engaged. My band and my crew you made the whole thing turn. And my beautiful family made it easy for me to do.”
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Adele opened up about splitting her time between touring and being with Angelo and his dad, her boyfriend Simon Konecki. “All of my relationships are more important to me than any tour I’ll ever do,” revealed the “Someone Like You” singer. While her family joins her on the road, she said that in the future a commitment to perform multiple shows in the same place, like Las Vegas, might be the perfect compromise.
