Jessica Chastain goes brunette on set of new film in Toronto

Jessica Chastain showed off a new look on the Toronto set of her new film Molly’s Game. Etalk spotted the actress out and about showing off some dramatic brunette locks on Monday (Nov. 28).

While the 39-year-old’s new hair might be a wig, she’s proving to be quite the hair chameleon by pulling off the darker shade. Since her Oscar-nominated breakout role in 2011’s The Help, in which she sported a blond wig, Jessica has been synonymous with red hair.

The 39-year-old actress is known for her vibrant red hair.

Jessica has opened up about her red hair in the past, admitting that it took her some time to embrace the hue. Speaking to InStyle magazine in 2013, the Miss Sloane star revealed, “As a child I didn't like it because it made me different. But as I grew older and more comfortable, it became a badge of honour.”

Whether she is a red head or a brunette, there is no denying that Jessica’s career has never been hotter. The California native has seven films in the works, including the political thriller Miss Sloane (in theatres on Dec. 9.)The movie sees the actress take on the role of a fictional Republican lobbyist, who quits her job in order to concentrate on pushing a bill restricting the sale of firearms through congress.
