According to the Canadian talent, she and Ruby launched a prank war on each other while working on the film xXx: Return of Xander Cage in Toronto last year. One such incident saw the Orange Is the New Black actress attempt to get close friend Taylor involved ... sort of.
"She hired a [Taylor Swift] impersonator to come to our set and sing to me and bombard me in my trailer, but what she didn't know was that the girl hired to do this was actually a huge fan," the Vampire Diaries alum said onThe Late Late Show with James Corden Thursday (Jan. 26).
The whole thing started to unravel when the impersonator realized who she was meeting. "She got really nervous and in the middle of it she hit her head and started bleeding."
The Taylor look-alike was treated by medics on set and wasn't seriously harmed, but the whole prank wasn't exactly how anyone would have wanted it to go.
This is the second piece of news that Nina shared with fans this week. Perhaps most exciting was word that the star will appear in the Vampire Diaries finale. She made the announcement on Instagram.
The show's executive producer Julie Plec also spoke to Variety about the news. "I'm thrilled to bring this show to an end the way we always intended -- with Nina back to help us say goodbye."
The finale is set to air on Friday, March 10.
