Eugenie Bouchard's date with a fan ended with a sweet kiss
By Sarah Walker
Eugenie Bouchard is not one to let a lost bet go unhonoured.
During the Super Bowl, the Canadian tennis star tweeted a message saying she "knew Atlanta would win" the match. At the time, the Falcons had a big lead over the New England Patriots.
In response, one of her fans suggested the two take part in a bet. If Tom Brady's team somehow came back to win, Eugenie would have to go on a date with the Twitter gent.

Her response was a short and sweet "sure."

Little did she know the exchange would result in a real-life meeting after New England pulled off an epic comeback to win the game in overtime 34-28.
Lesson learned. Never bet against Tom Brady

While few expected the Quebec native to follow through on the proposition, Wednesday night she fulfilled her promise. The 22-year-old sat courtside at a Brooklyn Nets game with John Goehrke, the fan from the earlier exchange.

She even took to the court at one point to throw some souvenir basketballs into the stands.
Based on Eugenie's social media updates, it looks like the two hit if off. John told her that it was the best date he's ever been on and the night even ended with a sweet kiss!

In addition to maybe finding her Prince Charming, Eugenie also celebrated a huge career milestone this week. The tennis ace made her debut in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
