Jennifer is a major fan of The Bachelor and has admitted multiple times that it's her "guilty pleasure." During an interview with The Hollywood Reportershe recalled the first time she and husband Justin Theroux watched the show, saying, “Justin and I, just for fun, watched—and two hours later, we were addicted. It was like junk food. We were sad when it ended.” She also predicted Nick’s Final Four during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! back in December. The person she picked for Nick? Corinne!
As the owner of a shirt that says “Most. Exciting. Rose. Ceremony. Ever,” it’s safe to assume Kirsten is a fan. The Hidden Figures star has even used multiple Jimmy Kimmel Live! visits to talk about the show. During one appearance she described The Bachelor as “one of the funniest, smartest shows on television” and referred to it as “comedic gold.” And in a later interview she complained to Jimmy about missing Ben Higgins’ finale (she was rooting for JoJo). Kirsten reportedly watches the show every week with her mom or her best friend and occasionally hosts her own viewing parties.
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy asked the newly-minted Oscar winner all about Nick’s season: “You watch The Bachelor. Who do you think Nick is going to choose? Will he choose anyone?” Emma told him that she doesn’t really see an obvious choice for Nick, but she did throw Vanessa’s name out there.
Back when Amanda was dating Justin Long, she told Ellen DeGeneres that they watched The Bachelor and The Bachelorette together. “The human interaction is a wonderful study. I feel really guilty about it sometimes but then other times you really want them to be happy and find love,” she said. And even though they’re no longer together, Amanda still keeps up with the franchise—she even tweeted about Corinne a couple weeks ago.
The singer is a self-proclaimed Bachelor superfan and—unlike most celebrity fans—he doesn’t feel any shame in that game. “It’s not a guilty pleasure. It’s designed to be a pleasure,” John he told Ellen DeGeneres a few years ago. He joined Ellen again this year to talk about his new music, but got a little side-tracked talking about The Bachelor. “I love the show, but it’s too much time to ask from me,” he said. “Two hours is a lot of buy-in time. I always watch the season premiere, and at the end of it they say ‘on an unbelievable new Bachelor.’ And I go, ‘Show me more of this! Show me more of this!’ I’ll pay $50 if you show me the entire season in 30 minutes.” And while he says he thinks it would be really fun to be the Bachelor, unfortunately he would never actually do it.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher
During an interview with Extra, Mila admitted that she and Ashton watch The Bachelor and The Bachelorette together. They were both really into JoJo’s season and were rooting for Jordan to win. “He’s a nice guy,” she said. And that’s not all; Mila thinks Ashton looks an awful lot like former Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Jared Haibon, so much so that she forced him to pose next to an image of Jared on their TV and then posted the snap on Instagram.
Sarah Hyland is big Bachelor fan and frequent live-tweeter. While catching up on an episode a few weeks ago, she tweeted the entire time using GIFs of her Modern Family character, Haley Dunphy. She has also met Ben Higgins and according to the blushing emoji in her Twitter caption, she was very excited about it.
Somewhat surprisingly, the feminist writer is an avid watcher of the Bachelor franchise. She sometimes live-tweets the show and has also written a powerful essay for The New York Timesabout her Bachelor-watching habit, where she said, “I know how damaging fairy tales are for women, how much sacrifice is demanded for an all-too-fragile promise of love, but still I watch The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.
Amy has a solid history with The Bachelor franchise. She made a guest appearance on Kaitlyn’s season of The Bachelorette, she’s interviewed Canada's own Sharleen Joynt on Inside Amy Schumer, she’s gotten into a Twitter spat with Chris Harrison that ended with Chris telling her he loves her, and she’s even said she would definitely be the Bachelorette—as long as ABC followed her conditions, of course. And apparently current Bachelor Nick Viall is just as big a fan of Amy Schumer as she is of The Bachelor.
During her appearance on Good Morning America, Nick recorded a special message for Amy: “I just want to say, from all my time on Bachelor Nation, I only have one regret, and that is showing up late to Kaitlyn’s season, because I realize now if I had shown up on time, you and I would have had a chance to meet, and who knows what could have happened? But unfortunately, it just wasn’t meant to be.”
According to her Twitter, Anna is an avid Bachelor watcher and has been keeping up with Nick’s season. The Pitch Perfect star has also been known to occasionally live-tweet the show.
“I’m so obsessed it’s like ridiculously unhealthy,” Lea has said about The Bachelor. She’s a former skeptic who got hooked during Sean Lowe’s season. The Scream Queens star appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!right after Jimmy’s cameo on Season 19 and wanted to talk more about his time on the show than herself. However, when asked if she would be the Bachelorette, she said no.
Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth
Lauren is relatively low-key when it comes to her personal life but thanks to her Twitter account we know that she and Hills BFF Lo Bosworth watch The Bachelor together!
Ryan might have live-tweeted Ben Higgins’ season premiere for some shameless Deadpool promotion, but he still seemed pretty into the show.
Abigail is also an occasional live-tweeter and she’s even made a Skype appearance on Bachelor Live. She asked Ben Higgins why he kept calling the girls “young ladies.”
During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon something very important was brought to light: Elijah is friends with Nick Viall! He met Nick through his friend Kyle, who started hanging out with Nick after meeting him at Lollapalooza. “He was just around and I would hang out with him. And I kind of knew about his Bachelorette experiences and found it fascinating,” he told Jimmy. Elijah, who has never watched the show before this season, now watches every Monday night.
The Girls star attends weekly Bachelor viewing parties in a Bachelor onesie (where do we get one???) and thanks the show for her marriage. When she joined Chris Harrison on Bachelor Live last year, which she called the highlight of her career, Allison said: “I would not be married to my husband if it weren’t for this show. We went to a weekly viewing party every week, and it was like a big group date, but with both genders equally distributed…it was how we met up.” Her husband, Ricky Van Veen, even proposed to her during one of their Bachelor viewing parties!
Kaley is such a huge Bachelor fan that her Big Bang Theory co-stars call her obsession “a little psychotic.” She hosts Bachelor viewing parties every Monday night and even had her own custom-made leggings with Ben Higgins’ face on them. Fun fact: she’s also close with former Bachelorette Ali Fedowsky.
The PLL star loves The Bachelor. In a 2016 cover interview with FLARE, she revealed that during her downtime she can be found snacking in bed while watching the show (at the time she was rooting for JoJo on Ben Higgins’ season). But would she ever consider being the Bachelorette? When E! Newsasked her the question she said, “Never say never to anything, you never know.”
She doesn’t talk about her love of The Bachelor very often, but Emma has been tweeting about the show for years. She even tweeted about wanting AshLee Frazier from Sean Lowe’s season to be the next Bachelorette back in 2013.
Lauren and Lo aren’t the only Bachelor fans from The Hills. The datings shows are Whitney’s favourite series to watch with her girlfriends. “It’s that built-in time I get with my girls, that built-in date night. No matter what’s going on in our lives we schedule that night to watch it together,” she shared in a video on her blog. Like the rest of us, she loves the mix of cringe-worthy real moments and watching people actually fall in love: “It’s just the best show.”
