Like father, like son. Shakira’s two-year-old son Sasha is following in the footsteps of his soccer star father Gerard Piqué. The "Hips Don’t Lie" singer took to Instagram on Monday (Apr. 4) to share an adorable video of her son playing various sports. In the clip, Sasha successfully throws a basketball into a hoop and hits a tennis ball over a net with his racket. Alongside the post, the mom-of-two wrote: “Mi bebito deportista! [My sporty baby!] My little athlete! Shak.”

The video comes months after Sasha battled an unknown illness, which prompted Shakira to cancel a few appearances, citing “personal matters.” In November, the mum-of-two thanked fans for their well wishes, posting a selfie with her little boy. Alongside the photo, she penned: “Thanks for all the messages you sent for Sasha while he was sick. Everything is under control now, and he's back to his cheerful self!”
The 40-year-old and her longtime love Gerard, 30, welcomed Sasha in 2015 and their firstborn son Milan in 2013. The Colombian beauty recently opened up about the father of her children calling him the “most sensible man” she’s ever met. "As a partner, he supports me in everything I do,” Shakira said at the Barranquilla School Project launch in Barcelona. “It is an important part of my well-being, as well as I of his and his joy that projects on the field." She added: "We talk about every aspect of our lives and work is one of them obviously."
