Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher are happy parents to son Isaiah, who just celebrated his second birthday, but could a little brother or sister be joining the family of three in the near future? The Oklahoma native recently revealed her thoughts on expanding her family and what her son thinks about having a sibling.
The country superstar is embracing a “whatever happens” mentality when it comes to having more children. “We’re on God’s good timing or whatever you might call it. I’m just trying to figure out where life’s going to take me next,” the mother-of-one told Entertainment Tonight.
While fans would be thrilled to see the GRAMMY award winner add to her brood, Carrie’s son is pretty comfortable being the only apple of his mother’s eye. The “Before He Cheats” singer explained that Isaiah’s actions around the house have proven that he would not be very fond of having a sibling. “If a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog!”
After taking a short break to spend time with her family, the American Idol returned to the spotlight in 2017 and performed at a series of high-profile events, like the GRAMMYs and the Academy of Country Music Awards. The former saw the 34-year-old team up with Keith Urban to perform their party-rock anthem “The Fighter.” Next up, Carrie will take the stage at the Microsoft Inspires event in Washington in July.
