Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers have reportedly called time on their relationship. The Green Bay Packers quarterback and the 36-year-old Newsroom actress were together for three years.
A source close to the couple confirmed the news to People, adding that there is no bad blood between the former couple. “[They] remain close friends,” said the insider before noting that the two “wish nothing but the best for each other moving forward.” E! News adds that it was the 36-year-old actress who initiated the split. "It was Olivia that called the break," says a source, adding that the reason for the split was due to the pair being on “different pages in life.”
Olivia and Aaron reportedly met at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas in 2014 and did little to hide their blossoming romance. The actress even opened up about her relationship on talk shows, including Conan where she admitted she didn’t know Aaron was one of the NFL’s biggest names.
The breakup came as quite a surprise to fans, given that the couple sparked engagement rumours in January when the Ocean’s Eight star was spotted wearing a huge diamond on her ring finger.
Aaron made headlines late last year for reasons other than his career and dating life. The professional athlete's brother Jordan Rodgers won the heart of JoJo Fletcher on season 12 of The Bachelorette, and revealed during the series that his famous brother is estranged from his family. The reality star hinted that Aaron cut off communication from his entire family, including his parents.
