Serena Williams has revealed that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Alexis Ohanian. The tennis champion posted a photo of herself sporting a baby bump while wearing a bright yellow swimsuit, and simply captioned the snap: "20 weeks." Fans were quick to congratulate her while pointing out that she had won the Australian Open while pregnant. One tweeted: "Serena Williams was pregnant when she won her 23rd grand slam tournament at the Australian Open. And did not drop ONE SET. Let that sink in." Another added: "Serena Williams is pregnant, congratulations Queen."
Although Serena has yet to announce the exciting news on Instagram, she recently posted a snap of herself spending time with her fiancé on the beach, and captioned the sweet shot: "My only regret is not pointing my toe sorry coach Garry." The pair announced their engagement in late December after nearly two years of dating. Posting on Reddit, the popular forum site co-founded by Alexis, Serena wrote: "I came home/ A little late/ Someone had a bag packed for me/ And a carriage awaited. Destination: Rome/ To escort me to my very own 'charming'/ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle/ At the same table we first met by chance/ This time he made it not by chance/ But by choice/ Down on one knee/ He said 4 words/ And I said yes." Alexis responded to the post, writing: "And you made me the happiest man on the planet."
Serena showed off her engagement ring on Reddit back in January while posing with her fiancé. Wearing a white top and black skirt, the 35-year-old revealed her huge diamond ring while placing her hand on her fiance's chest.
