Ryan Reynolds can’t stop singing the praises of his wife Blake Lively! The 40-year-old actor recently revealed how wonderful and empathetic the mother of two is during an interview with Humans of New York photographer Brandon Stanton.
“She always responds with empathy. She meets anger with empathy. She meets hate with empathy. She’ll take the time to imagine what happened to a person when they were five or six years old,” he told the photographer at the Met Gala (tag) on Monday (May 1).

The Deadpool actor further explained how the love of his life made him a better man and taught him the value of compassion and kindness. “She’s made me a more empathetic person” he shared with the popular photo blog, adding that Blake helped him heal his relationship with his father, James Reynolds, before he passed away from Parkinson’s disease in 2015.

“I had a very fractured relationship with my father. Before he died, she made me remember things I didn’t want to remember. She made me remember the good times,” he explained.
Ryan’s beautiful tribute to his wife was accompanied by a touching photo of the pair in a sweet embrace. The post left fans of the couple, and even some celebrities, swooning in the comment section. Supermodel Gigi Hadid posted several heart emojis and Blake ‘liked’ the image when it was made public on the social media platform.

While the couple showed that they are, yet again, the ultimate #relationshipgoals, the duo also proved that they are #fashiongoals on the red carpet. Blake looked stunning wearing a gold Atelier Versace gown with a blue feathered train and Ryan looked very dapper in a matching blue suit and bowtie.
