Justin Bieber gets the Bollywood treatment for his first-ever concert in Mumbai
Looks like the stars of Bollywood are Beliebers!
Justin Bieber performed in Mumbai on Wednesday (May 10) for the latest stop on his Purpose World Tour. Among the crowd at the Canadian pop star’s first ever concert in India were Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt, Arjun Rampal, Sonali Bendre and Arbaaz Khan.

Indian film star Arjun, 44, couldn’t hide his excitement prior to the show and even posted a en route video on Instagram of his two daughters belting out the Stratford, Ont.-singer’s hit “Sorry.” “In Bieber mode,” he captioned the sweet video.
Clearly Justin was just as thrilled to be rocking out with his fans. "You guys are the coolest. Hope you're ready to have the best night," said the Canadian chart-topper, taking to the stage of the packed venue. (Mumbai’s DY Patil stadium holds 60,000 people, and tickets were reportedly 80 percent sold out earlier in the week.)
And it seems like Justin, 23, was welcomed to the country with open arms. The concert was said to cost $4 million and was slated to be the “biggest in the history of India,” according to the show’s promoter, Arjun Jain of White Fox India.

Organizers are also making sure that the “Love Yourself” hit maker gets to enjoy his downtime during his stay in the Bollywood capital. “We’ve arranged sightseeing and a Maharaja sit-down dinner with different flavours of India because he loves Indian food. We wanted to host a couple of parties for him at celebrities’ houses and have got offers to host him there,” Arjun told CNN.
