According to the Holmdel Township Police Department, officers responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery at approximately 10:54pm on Saturday (May 13) night. When police arrived, Dina and David explained that they were attacked by two assailants after they entered their home.
David was struck several times with a baseball bat while Dina was “punched multiple times” by the other attacker, reported the couple. They added that they were bound together while thieves stole personal belongings such as cash and jewelry before feeling the scene.

Luckily, after the trespassers left the couple were able to free themselves and called 911. Dina and her boyfriend were later treated at a local hospital for facial injuries (David suffered a broken nose) and have since been released.
Prior to the horrible incident, the pair were out celebrating the first communion of Dina’s goddaughter Audriana Giudice, who is the seven-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. The author took to Twitter on Monday (May 15) to ask her 1.1 million followers to “say a prayer tonight for my sister @dinamanzo”

The couple have yet to comment publicly on the robbery, but their attorney Andrew B. Brettler told ET that the pair are still in shock over the “traumatic” incident.
“Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery,” Andrew stated, adding that the couple are thankful for the support they have received from friends and fans. “No one should ever have to go through what they did. They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes,” he explained.
