Remember when Penelope Cruz and Tom Cruise were inseparable or when Michael Buble was penning tunes about Emily Blunt?
Here, we take a walk down memory lane and recall some of Hollywood's most famous couples, who we totally forgot dated.

Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette
Before the Canadian heartthrob's marriages to Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively, Ryan was engaged to Alanis in 2004.
The pair dated for four and a half years before parting ways in 2007.
Their breakup was the main inspiration behind the Juno award-winner's album Flavours of Engagement.

Michael Bublé and Emily Blunt
The Devil Wears Prada actress and B.C. native dated for three years before they decided to call it quits in 2008.
Now, Michael is happily married to wife Luisana Lopilato, with whom he has two sons, while Emily tied the knot with John Krasinski in 2010. They are the proud parents of two daughters.

Penelope Cruz and Tom Cruise
After his marriage to Nicole Kidman ended in 2001 and before he tied the knot with Katie Holmes in 2006, Tom Cruise enjoyed a long romance with Penelope Cruz.
The two stars hit it off while working on Vanilla Sky in 2000 and began dating shortly after filming wrapped. Despite splitting in 2004, Tom and Penelope have remained friends.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon
After Reese split from her husband Ryan Phillipe in 2007, she found love with Jake on the set of the political thriller Rendition. After two wonderful years together, the lovebirds ended their relationship in 2009.
There is no bad blood between these former flames. In 2016, Jake only had good things to say about his ex, calling Reese, "one of the smartest, strongest people I've ever met."
