Beyonce and Jay Z appear to have revealed the names of their newborn twins! The proud parents let a huge clue out of the bag on Friday (June 30), when the company owned by the superstar parents filed legal documents to trademark the names Rumi Carter and Sir Carter, TMZ was the first to report. According to reports, the Drunk in Love singer welcomed her two babies with Jay Z by her side the night of June 19, or the following morning, at a medical centre in Los Angeles.
The names have been trademarked for all manner of future purposes, including baby teething rings, pushchairs, hair ribbons and rattles, in addition to tote bags, sports balls, key chains, cosmetics and fragrances, the outlet reports.
The super couple first revealed that they were expecting twins in February via a sweet Instagram post. “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over,” the 35-year-old singer captioned the amazing photo of herself cupping her small bump at the time. “We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters,” the superstar added.
Following the announcement, Beyoncé shared her pregnancy with her fans by posting photos of her growing baby bump while modelling a wide range of covetable maternity looks. Prior to the twins' arrivals, Jay Z and his wife celebrated their growing family with an extravagant baby shower, aptly called “The Carter Push Party."
