Will Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan's daughter follow in their dancing footsteps?

Many celebrity children end up following their parents into Hollywood, but dancing-duo Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum’sfour-year-old daughter Everly has different plans. According to her mom, the youngster hasn't found her passion on the dance floor.

Jenna admitted that her daughter hasn't inherited her love of dance

"She went to one [dance] class and she's like, 'No, I don't want to do it.' And I was like, never mind, because I never want to be the mom that's pushing her in the tutu to get in there,” the World of Dance star told Entertainment Tonight, before adding that her daughter is more interested in gymnastics.

The mother of one also admitted that she and Channing actively try to find activities that will steer Everly away from the bright lights of show business. "We [think] 'This will keep her out of the business.' Like, we actually consciously think of things that will be, like, if she does ease into this, she won't get into this business,” she told the media outlet.

One interest of Jenna’s that Everly has inherited is her love of fairies. While the Step Up actress goes out of her way to keep her daughter off of social media, she does from time to time post pictures of her little one dressed in her fairy costume on Snapchat. Everly’s mythical friends were also top of mind around Christmas time when she made sure to ask Santa Claus for some “glitter for the fairies.”
