Justin Trudeau's best family moments

Canada’s first family has been capturing the hearts of the nation since Justin Trudeau won the election back in 2015. The family of five love spending time together, from pumpkin picking in the fall (seen here at a farm in Gatineau, Quebec) to skating the Ottawa Rideau Canal in the winter, to attending summer PRIDE festivities across the country.
Here are some of Justin and Sophie's sweetest moments with their beautiful children – Xavier, 9, Ella Grace, 8, and three-year-old Hadrien.

The Trudeaus in Washington! The family of five were all smiles when they touched down at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland ahead of the prime minister's visit to the White House.

Sophie, Justin, Ella-Grace and Hadrien waved happily at their supporters before boarding a plane destined for Paris in 2015.

The First Family takes Halloween very seriously. Here, the Trudeaus hit the streets of Ottawa in a variety of costumes. Sophie wrote on Instagram, “Trick or treating with the family! Including a pilot and his Little Prince. ”

Justin was thrilled to share his first state visit to Washington with his lovely family. The Trudueas and Obamas enjoyed some friendly conversation and laughs in the Oval Office, which the PM's youngest child capped off with a big high five for Mr. Obama.

The Trudeaus know first hand how much fun the Quebec Winter Carnival in Quebec City is for families. Here they are all bundled up at the event in 2016.

Take your kid to work day! The PM took some time out of his busy schedule to play a game of hide and seek with his youngest son, Hadrien.

Hadrien stole the show during a trip to Hamburg in July 2017. Sophie, stunning in a bright red trench coat, and her husband held onto their rambunctious son as he swung gleefully down the stairs to the tarmac.

This past July, the Trudeau family celebrated Canada Day with the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall. Little Xavier was very well behaved as the First Family and British royals enjoyed the festivities on Parliament Hill.

The family that paints together, stays together! Sophie shared an adorable snapshot in April 2017 of her loved ones making the most of a rainy day. She captioned the photo, “What did we do after staring at the beige basement walls on a rainy day? A mural!!!! Nothing better than art and colours to wake up our spirits”.

The dynamic duo celebrated Sophie's birthday in 2017 with a trip outdoors. Justin penned a loving message to his wife on Instagram, writing, “Happy Birthday Sophie! Xo ❤”

Birthday boy Hadrien was surrounded by sibling love in a photo Sophie shared with her Instagram followers back in February 2017. Ella-Grace and Xavier planted a smooch on each of his cheeks! Proud mom Sophie wrote, “Hadrien, my little teddy bear… you are surrounded by love! Happy 3rd birthday!”
