Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are on the move! The Hollywood couple recently sold their luxurious California home for a staggering $17.8 million, making it the most expensive residence ever sold in the Bel-Air Crest area.
With the help of Million Dollar Listing ’s Josh and Matt Altman, the business-oriented pair made $8.8 million on the property, which they purchased in 2013 for a reported $9 million.
But more than a little elbow grease went into generating the real estate windfall. The 9000-square-foot mansion underwent huge renovations throughout the years, which were largely featured on episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Of the dreamy upgrades, Josh shared with People, “When they first bought this home, it had a very Mediterranean feel. Now, it’s been transformed into a very modern, minimalist style, but so beautiful.”
The family-of-four is officially heading north-west! Back in 2014, the reality star told People that she found her $20 million dream home in Hidden Hills, California, located just a hop, skip and a jump away from momager Kris Jenner’s lavish property. Definitely not a humble estate, their new 3.5-acre lot features two swimming pools, two spas and its very own vineyard.
Kim told People that they need the extra space, now that they have two children and are expecting a third, “When we bought our Bel-Air house, we didn’t have a baby, we weren’t even pregnant,” she shared. “After you have a baby, you realize that you need so many other things and a different kind of space.”
