Adam Levine is about to be even more outnumbered! The singer revealed during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (Nov 7) that he and wife Behati Prinsloo will soon welcome their second daughter.
Being a supermodel, Behati, 28, is known for her stunning appearance and charismatic personality. It’s hard to tell she’s even seven months pregnant, Ellen pointed out, after asking how she’s coping with her second pregnancy. “She’s just a champion of the world. She’s killing it,” Adam, 38, shared candidly. “You wouldn’t know she’s almost seven months pregnant.”
Apparently, Ellen actually played a role in naming the pair’s first child, one-year-old Dusty Rose, and hopes to be involved in naming their second daughter, who should be arriving early next year. Ellen commented on how “zen” Dusty Rose is, to which Adam quipped, “[It’s] funny because her parents are like maniacs. She just kind of calms us down. She just looks at us and she’s like, ‘Ok, let’s relax.’”
The Maroon 5 frontman is loving being a dad and can’t await to add more children to their brood, but unlike his wife, he has a limit. He confessed, “I want a lot. I thrive in chaos. [Behati] was an only child, so she wants like, one hundred babies, but I don’t know if I can do that.”
The Hollywood couple announced their latest pregnancy last month when Behati shared a baby bump snap with the caption, “ROUND 2…”
The couple’s daughter Dusty Rose made her public debut in February at her dad’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Addressing the crowd, Adam said emotionally: “I have a daughter, I have the most beautiful wife in the entire world. I am one of the luckiest people who’s ever lived and it has nothing to do with me. It had to do with the people who love me the most, and so I thank all of those people. I can’t do it individually, but I thank you all.”
