Diary of the Week: MCM Opening, H.O.M.E by Martell and Prince’s Charities Canada

Partygoers at the H.O.M.E by Martell bash were treated to delicious tastings, twisted cocktails and infused desserts. The event, meant to encourage curiosity of the mind and taste palate, was hosted by Shayne Stephens at Berkeley Bicycle Club. Guests got to enjoy music by BLOND:ISH, handcrafted eats by Cote de Boeuf and CXBO, and inventive beverages by Oliver Stern, while trying out the brand’s newest cognac varieties.
Torontonians can travel in style now that MCM Worldwide has opened its doors in Yorkville. The luxury travel brand, which expertly combines fashion and functionality, unveiled its Toronto flagship store on Nov 14. New York Knicks’ Jarrett Jack, Kyle O'Quinn and Courtney Lee were just a few tastemakers who popped by 93 Bloor St. West to check out the merchandise.
Finally, the Prince’s Charities Canada, Canadian charitable office for HRH The Prince of Wales hosted a private reception to celebrate the success of the Scottish brand Harris Tweed during Canadian Wool Week.
