Celine Dion’s Vogue couture video gets the spoof treatment by French comedian

By: Meaghan Wray

Celine Dion is loved and cherished not only for her voice, but for her genuine – and sometimes quirky — nature. To the delight of Celine’s fans, French comedian Marc Labreche has taken it upon himself to recreate her famous Vogue Couture video – and the result is a downright hilarious spoof!

The video follows the laugh-out-loud comic through a number of memorable scenes as he tries to sing and emulate the “My Heart Will Go On” singer’s eccentric demeanor – even down to the scene where he feeds a chef some fries.

Part of the Canadian chanteuse’s charm is her self-confident attitude, and she doesn’t mind getting a little goofy. In the original video released last July, the viewer is taken from scene to scene as a couture-clad Celine sings and interacts with kitchen staff and servers in a manner that only the Quebec native could pull off. Marc is a close second, though!

This video came about while Celine – who turns 50 this year – was in the midst of a high-fashion parade through Europe on her summer music tour. The star famously stepped out in way too many knock-out looks to count, making summer 2017 the season of Celine. And she is notoriously fearless when it comes to choosing what to wear!

But for the homegrown superstar, it’s an endless summer! By the end of her Eurotour, she’d already hinted at the potential for a new English album release this fall, five years after Loved Me Back To Life topped the charts.
