Step inside Jennifer Aniston and husband Justin Theroux’s LA home

Jennifer Aniston is a self-proclaimed serial designer. Endlessly renovating and redecorating her living quarters, she opened the doors to her stunning midcentury home in Los Angeles, which the Office Christmas Party star shares with husband Justin Theroux and their three adorable pups.

Jennifer - who rose to fame on the iconic TV show Friends - first moved into the property in 2011 after selling her former home in the same part of Bel-Air. Despite an attempt at moving to Manhattan, she explained to Architectural Digest that the media frenzy was just too much for their family of five. So the California native set to work creating her dream oasis, a passion she’s long been open about. “If I wasn’t an actress, I’d want to be a designer. I love the process,” she said, and it’s easy to see why.

On the outside, their home appears nearly camouflaged among the surrounding trees and foliage. Featuring plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows, the cozy spaces are naturally bright and filled with wooden midcentury modern furniture, vintage oversized leather armchairs and stunning artwork. But the real kicker is the bathroom, which houses a huge marble bathtub looking out into their luscious backyard.

Jennifer, 48, didn’t like much about this home’s original aesthetic, which was much too minimal for her cozy, warm taste, “It was the furthest thing from what I wanted, but I immediately had the sense that it could work,” the producer revealed to the publication. “It’s hard to describe, but I felt a connection.” The layout, she explained, was heavily inspired by traditional Chinese designs, which can still be seen in the stunning wooden fixtures and a giant pagoda in their backyard.

While it’s clear that Justin and Jennifer have a wonderful relationship, working together on redesigning their massive space wasn’t always easy for the actress. “Justin definitely wanted to be involved, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me on ow to include another voice in the design process,” she joked. If all else fails, at least Jennifer has a second career as a designer to the stars in the cards; she’s definitely got the Rolodex to make it work!
