Diary of the Week: Whatever it takes, Klick MUSE NYC, Women of Worth and NBS

The L’Oréal Paris ‘Women of Worth’ awards gala was the place to be this week! To celebrate International Women’s day, Canadian humanitarians gathered, along with general manager of L’Oreal Paris Milan Mladjenovic, to celebrate over $110,000 in charitable grants. The woman of the hour was Helen Mirren, who spoke at the event, took selfies with gala attendees and got emotional during the telling of personal stories.
The release of “Whatever It Takes” – a collection of behind-the-scenes stories about Canada’s biggest cultural treasures, like Hockey Night in Canada and The Juno Awards – was a huge success this week, as well. The man behind it all, Stephen Stohn, also executive produced Degrassi and The Juno Awards for two decades. Attendees enjoyed music by Sly Fox while mingling.
Klick MUSE NYC turned up the heat for their annual high-profile industry event in New York City, where attendees got to watch Sheryl Crow and Angelica Hale of America’s Got Talent perform. The Canadian health company Klick invited Michelle Obama and Ben Mulroney for the occasion, while over at Canada’s National Ballet School, party goers like James Temple and Jessika Fink celebrated innovation and creativity at NBS’ annual fundraising gala.
