The 10-year-old yodeller who took the internet by storm is headed to Coachella

A trip to Walmart typically doesn't include a spontaneous yodelling session, but that wasn't the case in late March. A video of a young yodeller singing Hank William Sr.'s "Lovesick Blues" in the Illinois store aisle went viral on Mar. 27, making child country and western talent Mason Ramsey an internet sensation in a matter of days. The story behind the video is shrouded in mystery, but one thing is for sure: the internet loves him. And now his viral success has taken him from The Ellen DeGeneres Show to the Sahara Tent at Coachella!

According to TMZ, a number of artists were vying for a chance to share the stage with Mason, including Post Malone in their Saturday evening time slot. The young talent accepted Chicago dance producer Whethan's Friday afternoon (Apr. 13) time slot because he's already busy the following evening - performing at the Grand Ole Opry. Talk about an overnight success story!

For those who weren't lucky enough to bump into the 10-year-old toe-tapping sensation while picking up some home supplies or hitting the desert for the annual music festival, one bystander was quick enough to capture "The Walmart Yodeller" on their phone.

Turns out, the Chicago native has quite the following on his musical Youtube channel and it's only bound to grow now that he's made a name for himself. The original tweeted video already has more than 20 million views.
