Their bachelor and bachelorette parties

Go big or go home! The fun began on May 9 when Linda and her Property Brothers hubby took off for their individual parties – they were a total surprise to the couple and included everything from adventurous bicycle tours to authentic cooking classes. For Drew, an elaborate scavenger hunt was organized, while the ladies enjoyed an evening of karaoke and cocktails. But, of course, the parties came together at the end of the night. “That’s the one thing we wanted to have. At the end of the day, we all get together and celebrate together,” Drew shared with People.

Their first dance

Way back in September, Drew opened up to Hello! Canada about his time to shine on Dancing with the Stars and how it would help him nail is wedding dance. “Hell, yeah, it’s going to help me with that first dance,” he exclaimed. Though he and his dance partner, Emma Slater, didn’t take home the Mirrorball trophy, she did swing by Italy with her husband, Sasha Farber, to help them out with their first dance. The pair of married couples took to the floor for what must’ve been an incredible choreographed number.

Their wedding party gifts

To thank their closest pals and family members for traveling to watch them exchange vows, Drew and Linda made sure to give them the ultimate Italian gift – custom pizza cutters and plates by their very own brand, Scott Living, in collaboration with Fortessa. And to inspire their wedding parties to keep traveling, the couple gifted them all travel bags designed by Lug.

Their amazing (and soon-to-be famous!) cake

A wedding isn’t a wedding without an epic cake, and don’t they know it! The newlyweds went with a buttercream frosting cake that boasts not one, but four flavours on the inside – vanilla with goat cheese, strawberry balsamic, red velvet, and carrot and chocolate hazelnut. Their big-hearted registry

In lieu of a gift registry, Linda and Drew wanted to make sure that their fun and elegant wedding also gave back to a good cause. The couple have been involved with the non-profit WE Movement and asked all of their guests to make a donation to the organization, which helps in-need communities around the world with access to water and education. They even gifted their wedding parties WE-themed gifts, like pyjama sets, scarves and bucket bags hand-woven by Ecuadorean artisans. How sweet is that?
