Blake Lively says she and Ryan Reynolds actually spell their daughter's name 'Inez'

It seems everyone has been spelling Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds daughter’s name wrong... and we're just hearing about it now! Back in September, the 30-year-old actress spoke to Peopleabout the confusion over her 19-month-old's name, Inez. Most people have assumed her name was spelled with an 's' and not a 'z,' but that’s entirely false.

“I had a new baby, Inez, with a ‘z’ even though everyone says it’s with an ‘s.’ I don’t know why, please tell Wikipedia,” the former Gossip Girl star told the publication. It's a mix-up the actress was quick to laugh off, as she moved on to joking about how little sleep she was getting as a mom of two.

“[Inez] was not sleeping through the night because she was a baby... And then she finally started sleeping through the night because she was old enough. Then my older daughter, James, decided that she doesn’t sleep through the night anymore.”

And even though she’s sleep-deprived, the All I See Is You star admitted in another interview that she feels like a better mom the second time around. "I think you’re more relaxed as a parent and also the first one is very dominating anyway," she told Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa. "So the second baby just has to be easier. They’re so easy going. And [Inez]'ll eat whatever... And my little one, oh, she’s just so divine. She just like came out of the womb a little foodie. We’re always like, ‘What’s your signature special,’ because she’s always reaching for anything.”

She added that she’s trying to foster Inez’s love of food. "I’m like the parent of an Olympian except I want a chef baby," she said. "So I’m like Ratatouille with the baby all the time."

Blake and her Canadian husband introduced their little ones to the world in December of 2016, when they came out to support their daddy's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Inez was just two months old, but her big sister James, then two, stole the show as she grabbed a microphone and toddled around hamming it up for the crowd.
