Gwyneth Paltrow has found true happiness with fiancé Brad Falchuk, but her dating life wasn’t always on such a high note. While chatting with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show on Wednesday (May 23) to promote Goop’s The Sex Issue, the actress opened up about her love life, revealing the lessons she learned from dating Ben Affleck and whether she and her future husband plan on adding more kids to their blended family.

Gwyneth and Ben called time on their relationship after dating on and off for three years back in the late 90s, and the 45-year-old doesn’t regret anything about their time together. “It’s interesting, I think there’s certain boyfriends where you are trying to work stuff out,” she shared candidly with the talk show host. “Like, you’re trying to heal certain stuff from your childhood and he was very much a lesson in that way.”

And while speaking to Howard, the Oscar winner let slip that their Brady Bunch is happy as is., saying, “This is his second marriage … Neither of us wants more kids. We’re on the same team.”

While the family is clearly happier than ever, it wasn’t always so easy, the mother of two revealed. “[Brad]’s fantastic,” she gushed. “It’s always tricky with kids and trying to gently blend families. It’s hard.” The two families will officially become one following the couple’s upcoming wedding, and Apple and Moses can’t wait! “They are excited,” Gwyneth revealed on Good Morning America. “It’s a very happy time, I have to say!”
