Just like her latest role as the crime-fighting vigilante in Peppermint, Jennifer Garner is putting on a brave face and showing that she’s as resilient as ever. Days after she was spotted driving ex Ben Affleck to rehab, the star made the most glamorous red-carpet appearance at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles on Tues (Aug. 28). Along with her amazing attitude, she had a show-stopping ensemble to match.
Taking her little black dress to the next level, the mother of three stole the show in a satin one-shoulder number that boasted a unique black train and the most amazing pair of silver-encrusted stilettos. Showing off her super-toned physique, the result of working with celebrity trainer Simone de la Rue , the Hollywood veteran looked happier than ever. “She’s a walking billboard for me right now,” Simone told HELLO! Canada in an interview. “First of all, she’s 46 and she’s had three children, which I think is incredible!”
The 13 Going on 30 star, who recently got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, graciously signed autographs for screaming fans outside the premiere. Her return to the red carpet comes days after she was picture taking her ex-husband to rehab. The actor has been open about his struggles with alcoholism, and sadly has had some struggles as of late while dating producer Lindsay Shookus , from whom he has parted ways according to the Daily Mail. Ben and Jennifer have been co-parenting their three children – Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and six-year-old Samuel – since separating in 2015. Though their divorce has not been finalized yet, reports say it will be filed once Ben completes his stay at rehab.
The Justice League producer has had similar struggles in the past, having gone to rehab twice before in 2001 and 2017. “I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront,” he wrote in a Facebook post last year. “I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be. I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.” He also had high praise for Jennifer, who continues to be there for him when he’s in need and look after their kids while he seeks treatment.
