Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are less than a week away from exchanging vows at the St. George’s Chapel altar, and royal fans are wondering which famous faces they can expect to see in the pews! After much speculation that George and Amal Clooney would be there – as they were for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex ’s nuptials – HELLO! has confirmed that they sadly won’t be in attendance on Oct. 12.
The Hollywood heavyweight and his barrister wife were long expected to be back in Windsor, given Jack’s connection to George, Rande Gerber and Mike Melman’s tequila brand, Casamigos. The 32-year-old became the European Brand Manager for the company back in 2016, as he moved on from his role at the Mexican-themed club Tonteria in Sloane Square, London. The brand – which was born by accident, according to Business Insider– recently sold to spirit and beer producer Diageo for a whopping $1 billion.
But while the uber-talented couple won’t be watching them say “I do,” Eugenie and Jack’s roster of guests is still bound to be filled with A-list friends! Ellie Goulding, James Blunt and Ed Sheeran are among the singers and close friends of the Royal Family expected to be there, along with Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, and Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field. Their daughter, Teddy, is likely to be one of Eugenie’s bridesmaids. What’s more, Italian powerhouse Andrea Bocelli will perform two songs during the couple’s ceremony, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO).
The couple’s nuptials will take place at the same venue as Prince Harry and Meghan’s but on a Friday instead of during the weekend. The duke and duchess also had a star-studded wedding guestlist, including Oprah Winfrey, Meghan’s BFFs Priyanka Chopra and Serena Williams, Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham , and many more. Amal and George showed up to the ‘do looking more stylish than ever, with the human rights lawyer dazzling in a mustard yellow Stella McCartney dress and her husband making a dashing date in a grey suit with yellow accents to match.
